Most people we work with have been carrying an idea around for a while. They've described it at dinner. They've sketched it on the back of something. What they haven't had is a team who could take it seriously and turn it into software.
That's the whole job. We're engineers and designers who like the part where an idea stops being a description and starts being a thing you can open, tap, break and improve. We've built a credit marketplace that unblocks housebuilding across whole river catchments, an engine that reads bank transactions to make lending decisions, a compliance service that refuses to issue a report a council would reject, and a shop for a baker who was taking orders by text message. The satisfying bit is always the same: the moment it's real.
We stay small on purpose. It means the people you meet are the people who build it, decisions happen in a conversation rather than a steering group, and we can afford to care about the details.
